Seriously, the snow in the background is the aftermath of a three day storm, believe me, I was terrified out of my mind while driving to and from work. Thank goodness for four wheel drive and practically empty roads. Speaking of empty, have any of you been feeling the absence of the festive holidays? I know that yes, with new year's everybody is either working hard to keep with their resolutions or waving goodbye to slight regrets and moving on with January. I feel without the glitter, reds, greens, and pine trees, there is a small gap--which I have been filling with bright turquoise. Literally every other day I've been pulling items that have at least a hint of the unique blue shade. Have you guys been selecting items that revolve around a main color or family of hues?

Amen to that, four wheel drive is the only way to go with the snow. (Yikes, I hate driving while it's snowing, I can never see the side of the road and there ALWAYS that jerk who races around and throws up all of the snow so no one else on the road can see.) We just took down our Christmas tree and everything feels so sad now. Should have left it up until July.

Love the snakeskin sweater! I have a really hard time with winter after Christmas is over. I even joined a gym in the hopes i wouldn't end up with the winter blues. Fingers crossed!
